A work of art is a confession…
Albert Camus
I like painting at night creating my own colourful world unperturbed by the greyness and daily noise of the city.
I usually paint in my kitchen because the smell of cooked food grounds me from the fear of the white surface… music of all kinds always plays in the background.
An idea or concept is incubating before I start painting but everything changes as the work evolves and I become like a blind traveller experiencing an unknown journey.
My hands are simply the tools, the colours create more colours and they in turn create shapes and images all ending in an expression or interpretation of an internal process.
Painting represents what I cannot say with words, as poetry represents what I cannot paint.
